Frequently asked questions about glass wlights
Which glass wall light can go outside?
The Orb. It has an aluminium body and a tempered-glass diffuser and is designed for outdoor use: entries, porches and covered outdoor walls. The Orbis and Remy are IP20 rated.
Does frosted glass reduce the brightness?
It spreads the light rather than dimming it. On the Orbis the LED ring sits behind the frosted disc, so you get a soft, even glow across the whole face instead of a bright point, ideal beside a bed or along a hallway.
Can I replace the globe?
The Remy takes a standard G9 globe, so yes. The Orbis and Orb use integrated LEDs rated for tens of thousands of hours and are not designed for globe replacement.
