What is a wall light (or wall sconce)?
A wall light, also called a wall sconce, mounts directly to the wall to cast a soft, layered glow at around head height, far more flattering than a downlight overhead. How to choose the right wall light
Think about three things: the room, the material and the light itself. Diffused materials like alabaster, stone, glass and ceramic glow as one soft shape, while metal fittings throw light in a direction. How many wall lights does a room need?
